Watching television shows has always been my favorite pastime. Even if I already moved out, I still watch television shows at my parent’s house. Nothing can be more fun than watching movies and shows with your family. I have always been watching shows from a free satellite TV since I was a little kid and watching it at may parent’s house with the rest of the family always makes feel like I am home.
During my younger years, watching shows from a free satellite TV was never complete without some popcorn and of course everyone’s favorite Jell-O. Every Friday and Saturday nights my mom would prepare lots of Jell-Os chilled in the fridge because she always knew that after dinner when the clock ticks at eight, everyone will be staying in the living to watch their favorite baseball game.
Past and Present Satellite TV
The dish satellite TV during my childhood was not able to give us a better reception. The pictures were a little shaky at times especially when the weather was bad. But most of the time, we always had so much fun despite of the bad reception.
Now, with the advent of technology, watching shows and movies from a satellite TV is very pleasant because the reception is better. The pictures can now be seen on screen vividly and the sounds are really clear. Aside from that, the present dish satellite TV gives access to a lot of free TV channels where most of my favorite shows and games are aired.
How Free TV Strengthens Family Bond
Watching television from our dish satellite TV has become a family tradition every Friday and Saturday nights. Although all of us have already moved out from our ancestral house, me and my brothers will still make it a point to gather at my parent’s house during these days to watch our favorite games and then watch great movies or shows.
At first, I thought watching games and shows using a free satellite TV were only for having a good entertainment. But, as time passed by I realized that it was the family bond that was becoming more important than any show that we were watching. As a matter of fact, we even sometimes turn the TV and talk about a lot of things that have been going on with our separate lives and not realizing that we are actually watching a movie or a TV show.
The free satellite TV became our sort of medium to further strengthen the connection in our families. Of course, mom never forgot what to prepare during the weekends. A pleasurable movie watching will not be complete without mom’s Jell-Os and popcorns.
The tradition of watching from a free satellite TV has somewhat change a little bit. What used to be cans of sodas are now cans of beers. There are also layers of pepperoni pizza instead of jell-o. The best change is that my brothers’ little kids and their wives watch the shows with us now.

I just moved in to my apartment and the first thing that I set up was my television set. I admit that I can be a potato couch most of the time but I am living on my own now and I knew that I could not yet afford to pay for cable services. Yet I knew that I could not afford to miss my favorite TV shows and most of them come from channels that I could not get locally. If only free satellite TV was possible. Then my friend suggested that I check out the dish satellite network which she guarantees me to be way much cheaper than cable services. Aside from that I would even be getting more channels with the satellite TV compared to the channels that I could get from cable.
The Search for Free Satellite TV
I had to admit that I ignored my friend’s suggestion at first and searched under my terms to get free satellite TV. I have encountered solutions like getting to watch TV programs in my laptop but I hardly liked the idea. First of all I owned a tiny notebook and second, I liked to watch high picture quality in a wide screen.
Although the option means I would get to watch TV shows for free it would also mean that my television would be useless. I just bought that television set with my own money two years ago so that I did not have to fight with my brothers over the remote control and it would be a waste to not just use it. So when I ran out of free satellite TV options, I finally relented and gave my friend’s suggestion a try.
I contacted the local dish satellite office in order to check their available packages. It was very evident that it is much cheaper than cable services and when I saw that I can get access to more than 500 channels through their network I was amazed. I could actually be getting more than what I am paying for.
My Free Satellite TV Experience
I did not have to wait long for the dish satellite to start installing in the apartment that I rented. I was very excited. It has been over a week since I last watched my favorite television shows and I was getting desperate.
The crew they sent over was very kind and showed me how to use the free satellite TV tools that came along with the package that I signed up for.
The fact that I would be paying a lesser bill for all the channels that I was getting made me feel like I got free satellite TV after all. Now I can watch my favorite television shows and got to love more shows from the other channels that I was able to get.
