Both offer Free Satellite TV Installation
When it comes to picking a satellite television company, many people look to the sports packages when trying to figure out which company to select. That’s not surprising, considering that sports are a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States and a big part of many peoples social life. Of course adding the sports bundles are not free satellite TV and cost a little extra. When looking at Direct TV and Dish Network, what should you consider if you are an avid sports fan?
The first thing to remember is that both satellite TV companies carry all of the major networks like NBC, ABC and FOX. In most areas of the country, these channels are also in HD. So if you are a casual fan who likes to watch the major sporting events, you will be able to find these on both Dish Network and Direct TV without having to pay an arm and a leg.
Both satellite carriers also carry the major cable networks like ESPN, ESPNEWS, and your regional sports networks. Some of the lower level packages may not offer these channels, so if coverage of your local sports team is important, than you should check into this further.
Also everyone wants free satellite TV installation; fortunately you are in luck because both companies have it.
The big difference between Dish Network and Direct TV when it comes to sports programming is when considering the premium packages. Offers like the NFL Sunday Ticket are currently only available through Direct TV. Other packages like the MLB Extra Innings package are offered to all cable and satellite providers, but because Dish Network does not yet have an agreement you won’t find it there.
Additionally, Direct TV now has expanded sports coverage of the major golf and tennis tournaments. Using their Mix channel technology, subscribers have access to literally hundreds of hours of additional coverage when it comes to major tournaments like Wimbledon.
When it comes to sports, the basics can be found on both satellite television providers. But if you want all of the sports bundles, Direct TV is the clear provider of choice. Hence I would recommend Direct TV even though you have to pay a little extra because just because it is Direct TV it is not free satellite TV, but its worth it!
Remember there is no such thing as a free ride, so focus on value instead.

Free Satellite TV Installation is not always enough
Many individuals living in the United States today speak Spanish as their first language. If they had their choice, they would prefer to watch TV and be entertained in the Spanish language rather than English. That seems only natural to me The problem is that many cable TV companies today only have a few Spanish networks on their channel lineup.
The best solution is DIRECTV Mas, a programming package specifically designed for the Latino market. Let’s consider a few of the frequently asked questions on the Direct TV Mas package.
Does Direct TV Mas offer the most Spanish channels?
Personally, I have not found a satellite or cable TV provider that offers more Spanish programming. Dish Latino comes close with 40+ channels, but Direct TV seems to still hold the lead with more than 45 Spanish networks. Verizon Fios also deserves as mention with more than 40 Spanish channels.
Do I have to pay extra for the Spanish package?
Yes there is a small additional charge added to the basic package, you don’t get free satellite TV however this programming packages is less expensive than cable and is customized based on your language of choice for viewing and programming.
Do I have to install a satellite dish?
Yes, Direct TV Mas is the Spanish language version of the satellite TV Company’s English package, so you will have to have a dish installed. The good news is that Direct TV offers free satellite TV installation so you want have to do it your self. If you are a renter, check with your landlord or property manager for permission first.
How affordable is the Spanish package?
Spanish language packages start in the area of $30 with promotional discounts. After the first year, price increases by $18 a month, but with the total price under $50 that still beats cable TV pricing any day. And as we said getting started is fast and easy with free satellite TV installation from a professional installer company.
Can I use the Direct TV DVR on the Spanish channels?
Yes. DVR service will record all of your favorite Spanish language programming for playback at your convenience. There is no better way to watch TV than with a DVR device. Not to mention that currently Direct TV is currently offering DVR for free with sign up.
What about English channels? Are they included too?
Yes. Direct TV Mas packages include not only 45 Spanish channels, but more than 100 English audio and video channels, depending on your selected bundle. Spanish programming packages from DIRECTV have been taken to a higher level. Why not entertain your whole family with an affordable satellite TV package.
Don’t forget we love free satellite TV
